Kurtis 501 with a Denver
Capsule. The boat was layed up by Denver
himself & rigged by Eddie Knox. We are running
an all aluminum 541 ci Rodeck with Big Chief Heads,
a 14-71 Hi-Helix retro fit blower with a Buzzard
hat. B&J two speed tranny & clutch.

What got me interested
in drag boat racing: |
My dad drag raced boats
in the early 80's and the company he worked for also
owned a blown alcohol hydro. So I was going to
Red Bluff by the time I was 6.

What I like most about
drag boat racing: |
The people that we meet.
The fact that anything in their trailer is yours if
you need it, even if they are racing you next. |

Goals: |
We really want to go 215
mph this summer, preferably at Dexter. Within
a year or two I am hoping to own and drive a Top
Fuel Hydro. |
